The game against Yanga is over; we are going to battle for the final six points - Medeama coach Evans Adotey

In a somber post-game press conference, Medeama's head coach, Augustine Evans Adotey, admitted defeat in their recent clash against Young Africans, characterizing the loss as a woeful setback in their CAF Champions League group stage campaign.

The 3-0 defeat in Tanzania dealt a blow to Medeama's aspirations to secure three crucial points, leaving Coach Adotey visibly disappointed with his team's performance. Speaking candidly, he acknowledged that the anticipated triumph against Young Africans SC had slipped through their grasp.

“The game is over. The ambition of Medeama to take away a point or the three maximum points unfortunately failed. We have two more games…We shall fight for the remaining six points,” he said.

Star striker Sowah, a pivotal figure in Medeama's offensive lineup, endured a night to forget. The 56th-minute penalty miss, which could have equalized the score at 1-1, loomed large over the team's chances.

Sowah's misfortune was compounded as he received a red card in the dying moments of the match, further diminishing Medeama's chances of mounting a comeback.
