Deputy Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Henry Wellington believes the phobians can go on to achieve great things this season despite losing to Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the President Cup on Monday.

Accra Hearts of Oak lost to their fiercest rivals Asante Kotoko 4-1on penalties after the teams played out a pulsating goalless draw in the game which was replayed after the earlier kickoff on Sunday was rained off.

The Phobians lost for the second year running on penalties to Kotoko but Coach Henry Wellington who was in charge of affairs in the absence of Scottish trainer Frank Nuttal is optimistic of his sides future prospects.

“I’m satisfied with our performance in the two games we played and if we’re going to continue in this same vein, the sky will be our limit,” Coach Wellington told reporters after the game.

Meanwhile, Coach Henry Wellington added they lost to their rivals because of the limited number of player they travelled with.

“Kotoko had an advantage over us in the game because yesterday after the match was rained-off, we had to manage the players we came here (Kumasi) with while they had the luxury of changing almost half of their team.”

“We came with just 20 players and this caused the cramps on my some of my players,” Wellington noted.

The Former Ghana Champions will now shift their attention to the Premier League where they travel to face Bechem United in match day 21.
