THE SUPERCOPPA ITALIANA 2021 WILL BE PLAYED IN MILAN ON 12TH JANUARY 2022

The Board of the Lega Serie A, which met this morning by videoconference, unanimously deliberated that the Supercoppa Italiana 2021 will be played at the "Giuseppe Meazza" stadium in Milan. The trophy, now at its 34th edition, will be played in Italy for the 23rd time, compared to the 11 Cups assigned abroad. The Milanese stadium holds the record for the number of finals played and is preparing to host the Supercoppa for the 12th time in the history of the competition.

The match, scheduled for Wednesday 12th January 2022, will see Inter, winner of Serie A TIM 2020/2021, and Juventus, winner of last season's TIMVISION CUP, face off.

Today's meeting also deliberated that the Supercoppa Primavera TIMVISION between Empoli, winner of the Primavera 1 TIM 2020/2021 Championship, and Fiorentina, winner of last season's Primavera TIM Cup, will be played at the "Carlo Castellani" stadium in Empoli on Thursday 9th December 2021.
