Swansea City manager Steve Cooper has shared that there has not been any formal offer from Leeds United for Andre Ayew amidst their speculated interest.

The in-form Ghanaian forward continuous to excel for the Swans and has reportedly attracted interest from Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa who is now looking to secure his services.

In a pre-match interview ahead of Swansea's English Championship fixture against Luton Town, manager Steve Cooper has noted that he is not surprised about the interest in his talisman.

When asked whether the club has received any offer yet, he responded, “No, not at all. Not a thing,”

Steve Cooper added, “There’s a lot of players excelling in the league at the moment and we’ve definitely got one in Andre so I’m sure he’ll be talked about and you’ll be asking me every time I sit here until the end of January.

“He’s in fine form and he’s really enjoying his football and training here. We’re enjoying that and hopefully, it’ll last for a longer time than January.”

Ayew has scored seven matches and has provided four assists in the English Championship this season after making 20 appearances.

He is expected to be key for Swansea City throughout the remainder of the campaign as they look to secure promotion to the English top-flight.
