The head coach of Nations FC, Kassim Mingle Ocansey is optimistic that his team will improve and win games as the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season grows.

The tactician and his side settled for a draw with Bechem United on Sunday in their opening match of the new league season.

Speaking in a post-match interview, Coach Kassim Mingle admitted that there is more work to be done for his team to get to the top level.

“We played very well but it’s unfortunate we couldn’t win the game. I will say it’s the beginning of the league, I’m very much impressed with the performance but it’s not 100% yet but a work in progress. There is more work to be done and I’m not down at all. If you could see our goalkeeper was on complete holiday. We kept on pressing until we got the goal and it was disallowed.

“There is more room for improvement and we will keep working. We played better than them and we played the draw. After three or four matches the team will gel more than we did here,” Coach Kassim Mingle Ocansey said.

Next weekend, Nations FC will take on newcomers Young Apostles.
