Ashantigold midfielder Seth Osei has identified unity as the driving force behind the miners current performance in the Ghana Premier League.
The Obuasi-based club currently sit 5th position with 11 points on the league standings winning three games, drawing two and losing two after 7 matches into the season.
They defied the odds to beat WAFA at Sogakope in matchday 7 of the domestic top-flight.
According to Seth Osei, who was adjudged the man of the match prize, his side recent performance is as a result of unity between the players, technical team and management.
“I will thank Thomas Duah for the fantastic job he has done. It was a difficult game but our coach motivated us and we were able to pick all the points at stake”
“I believe we have been doing at the moment because of unity. Management, players and technical team are together and that has been the driving force” he said.
Ashantigold will welcome in-from Aduana Stars in matchday 8 of the league on Wednesday.
