Former Barcelona forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed that he expects to see a reduction in salaries and market prices of players during these dark coronavirus times.
Since the COVID-19 started, a lot of leagues in Europe have been suspended and even though they are preparing to resume, they will mostly play behind closed doors according to reports.
The 33 year old noted that the pandemic will cause far more damage than lack of fans in stadiums.
"I think the corona virus will result in a reduction in the salaries and market prices of football players as a result, " he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
He is currently self isolating in Turkey with his family.
