Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois has revealed that spendingseveral training sessions as an outfield player and getting used to the fast paced football his teammates play has made him better with the ball at feet.

In an interview withSky Sports, Courtois spoke of how much he's adapted to the technical side of the game in recent months, saying:"I've played a lot with the team and my passing is now much better,I'm more confident and I'm trying to play."

The shot-stopper along with the rest of his team has been in terrific form since their switch to 3-4-3and has conceded just one goal in his last 7 games. During this run, he's managed to rack upthe most clean sheets in the Premier League too.

It's hard to believe the Chelsea and Belgium No.1 is only 24 years old - he'salready won 7 trophies. Winning the respective league title in each of the countries he's played at, including that 3 year loan spell at Atletico Madrid.

Courtois then went on to speak about his admiration for the 3-4-3 formation Chelsea currently play, saying:"I think it's the system,It not only gives cover for the goalkeeper, in general it's a good system. When one guy can drop down and you can still have four at the back."

The Chelsea goalkeeper and his team now look ahead to Saturday's game away to Manchester City where they have the chance to pull even further ahead of the pack at the top of the league.
