Atletico Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey, has appeared on the radar of Italian giants, Inter Milan who are said to be tracking him.

The 25-year-old Ghanaian player who has had limited play time under Coach Diego Simeone is said to be unhappy with lack of action under the same manager who watched him blossom into a big star.

Partey has made only 10 appearances in the La Liga for the Spanish club this season as against his 33 appearances last season.

Inter Milan would have to cough out €50m to secure the signature of the Ghanaian if they have to meet release clause of the player.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Thomas Partey could be an option for the Nerazzurri who want to reunite him with his international teammate, Kwadwo Asamoah.

“So far he has played a lot, but during some more important matches, Simeone decided not to field him and instead he has opted to play Saul, Rodri, or Koke.

The 1993-born Ghanaian who grew up in Atletico Madrid’s youth academy has a contract until 2023 and a 50 million euro release clause.”

“The player has international experience, and if Inter discover that they are unable to secure a top player in midfield, Thomas can be an interesting option”, the news portal said.
