Midfielder Thomas Partey is remaining calm and will not force a way out of Atletico Madrid despite his readiness to join Arsenal in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The Ghana international has been the talk of town for the past few months following several interests from top clubs for his signature this summer.

The frontrunners, Arsenal have seen an official bid of 25 million Euris plus Matteo Guendouzi being rejected already. While the Gunners remain interested in bringing Thomas Partey to the Emirates Stadium, they are currently not financially ready to meet the 50 million release clause in the contract of the player.

As things stand, Thomas Partey is open and ready to join the English Premier League club. However, he is not willing to go the extent of pushing for his way out of the Rojiblancos club.

It is now all up to the London-based club to cough out the money for Atletico Madrid to let go of the midfield dynamo. Sources say that Arsenal's number 1 transfer target continues to be the Ghana star and the club is considering several player sales to raise the funds to facilitate his purchase.
