Ghanaian international Thomas Teye Partey has been ranked amongst the best 10 most valuable defensive midfielders in the world.

Currently playing his football with Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid, the hardworking middle man has seen tremendous improvement in his game in the last couple of seasons.

While he continues to be an integral part of the Atletico set up, he is also a transfer target of several European giants including Manchester United, PSG, and Arsenal.

In a recent rating, he has been ranked 9th most valuable defensive midfielders in the world. His value of 50 million on the transfer market is surpassed by Ruben Neves, Declan Rice, Brozovic, Jorginho, Casemiro, Fabinho, Kimmich, and Rodri.

If Partey continues with his performance in the La Liga and the Champions League, it will not be surprising to see him amongst the top five on the rankings.
