Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey appears destined for an impending departure from Arsenal, as reports suggest the talented player is set to part ways with the North London club in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Reports in England on Friday states that Arsenal gaffer Mikel Arteta is set to restructure his squad and Thomas Partey is part of the players the club will sell to finance other targets.
Due to the 29-year-old Ghanaian's slump in performance over the important final stretch in the league, Thomas Partey is the subject of interest from two unidentified teams in Italy.
The Gunners may sell Partey this summer while there is still interest, despite his two-season deal.
Arsenal confirmed the signing of Partey on a long-term contract on 5 October 2020, after exercising his £45 million release clause with Atletico Madrid.
Thomas Partey enjoyed his best time in an Arsenal shirt this season. He made 32 appearances and scored three goals in the league.
