Athletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey will leave Ghana next week for Spain to start preseason with the club.

The 23 year Old has been in the country for holidays but is due to return with Coach Diego Simeone looking at making Partey a regular next season following injuries to some key players.
Partey dropped out of Ghana’s friendlies against the United States and Mexico upon request from the club to stay off those games.

The midfielder has been linked to clubs in England with Leicester city very interested in the former Tema Youth player.
He was excused from Ghana’s game against Mexico and the United States.
