Just like many Arsenal fans and football fanatics, Sam Dean is struggling to understand how the star midfielder of the Gunners is all of a sudden, not bossing games.
Speaking in a discussion on the current form of the Ghana talisman, the Telegraph journalist said he won’t be surprised if the player has been playing with an injury.
“Thomas Partey has dropped off a cliff in the past few games. He’s forgotten how to play football in the same way, and watching him against City on Wednesday was bizarre. I don’t know about his fitness and I’ve not asked anyone, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was carrying something,” Dean said on the Arsenal Beat Podcast.
Thomas Partey’s dip in form has seen Arsenal lose several points. As a result, the team is no longer favourite to win the English Premier League title this season.
