Tobinco Group of Companies has demonstrated its steadfast support for excellence by awarding an astounding Ghc100,000 to the victorious players of Medeama SC.
Following their resounding victory in the highly competitive 2022/23 Ghana Premier League (GPL), this generous gesture serves as a testament to Tobinco's commitment to fostering great achievement and recognizing the immense dedication and skill displayed by the Medeama SC team.
Mr. Samuel Amo Tobbin, Executive Chairman of the Tobinco Group, handed over the actual cash to the players and committed to assist the Club ahead of the CAF Champions League campaign.
This afternoon, Medeama SC presented the trophy to the Tobinco Group of Companies at their headquarters.
Medeama secured their championship title with a resounding 3-0 victory over Tamale City, marking their first-ever triumph in the history of the club.
Their key striker, Jonathan Mensah Sowah, played a pivotal role by scoring a hat trick, ensuring that the club, which had come close to winning the Ghana top-flight title on two previous occasions, finally claimed it on the final day.
In their journey to become champions, Medeama also condemned Tamale City to relegation after just one season in the Ghana Premier League.
