Tokyo 2020: Black Queens arrives home to prepare for Gabon return leg

The Black Queens of Ghana have returned home following their 3-0 win over the Panthers of Gabon in the qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

In a game played at the Stade Augustin Monédon de Libreville, goals from Juliet Acheampong, Portia Boakye, and Priscilla Okyere handed head coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo and her ladies an emphatic first-leg win.

They have today landed in Ghana to prepare for the crucial second leg encounter of the tie.

The team will be lodging at the Mariset Hotel to prepare for the reverse fixture which is set to come off on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Queens go into the match with a huge advantage but will be gunning for yet another victory to avoid any surprises.
