Tony Pulis Admits West Brom Were 'Knocked Flat' by Second Goal in 2-0 Loss to Man Utd

Tony Pulis believes that his West Brom side were beaten by a side with 'real class' as Manchester United defeated them 2-0 at the Hawthorns.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored in both halves to secure United's fourth straight victory.

Seeing these West Brom subs reminded me - where is Saido Berahino? A dungeon somewhere, and Pulis has eaten the only key?

The first one was a poor goal for us to concede. It was a two-pass move and it knocked us back, but I thought we played well then," Pulisadmitted toSky Sports.

"We ended up coming back into the game and finished the half pretty strongly. It was just making sure they didn't get a second goal which would knock us flat."

"Unfortunately the second goal, which is a deflection, just knocked us flat. It is a three-game week, a tough week, especially for us. I am very pleased with the players, I thought they worked hard but United have some real class."

Pulis is looking forward to the January transfer window now, with a couple of players needed to boost the squad.

"Now what we have to do is make sure we hang in there until the window opens and fingers crossed we can add one or two to the squad."

"That's what we need to do, add one or two to the squad and keep things ticking over and going in the right direction."
