As reported by theDaily Mail,Hector Bellerin has put pen to paperand signed a bumper new contract at Arsenal, thusspurning the advances of Barcelona and Manchester City.

It's claimed the new deal is worth a mammoth£100,000-a-week and will see the speedy Spaniard remain at the club for the next six years.

Bellerin's new contract will see him pocket over £30m with bonuses and add-ons, and the fresh terms are due to take him into the bracket of thehighest earners at the Emirates stadium.

Such was Bellerin's desire to remain with Arsenal, it's been claimed thenew contract took just four days to reach a successful conclusion, though whether any other tentative discussions had taken place earlier in the year remain unkown.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will view tying the 21-year-old down to a new deal as a major boost to the North Londoners after speculation over a potential departure for Bellerin had only increased since the end of the summer transfer window.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is thought to be a huge admirer of the full-back, and had allegedly earmarked Bellerin as the long-term successor to the likes of Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna at the Etihad stadium.

Meanwhile, Bellerin's ex-club Barcelona were also reportedly keen to entice their former protege back to the Camp Nou but the Catalonians will now need to offer a significant amount of money if they still harbour hopes of bringing Bellerin back home to Spain.

Arsenal will now hope that superstar duo Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil will follow suit and pen new deals at the club in the near future. The pair have been in talks with Arsenal's representatives for a number of weeks, with the striker and playmaker thought to be eyeing salaries that will make them the outright highest earners in the club's history.

Discussions are also continuing over handing a new deal to Wenger himself, with the Frenchman's own contract due to expire next June. Reports suggest that the 67-year-old will be handed a two-year extension to retain his services until June 2019.

Bellerin has made 87 appearances for Arsenal since making his debut, and has won two trophies during his time at the club.
