Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is ready to hand Fernando Llorente a start tonight against Champions League opponents APOEL.
Llorente has made 16 appearances for the north London club, but is yet to register a goal or assist.
“Of course the striker always needs to score," he said.
“He has some possibility to score in the last few games but he didn't. We trust in him. It's so difficult to arrive in a club without pre-season and perform the way that you want. But I am happy with his contribution.
“Of course, he is disappointed because when he plays he didn't score but I am sure he is going to help the team."
