Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is tightlipped over their interest for Bordeaux attacker Malcom.
Malcom is being linked with a move to Spurs this month.
Pochettino, after their draw with Southampton, said: "That is a rumour and I don't want to speak about it. I am happy with our squad.
"We are open to quality players but you know very well it is difficult in this transfer window."
He added to BBC Sport on Sunday: "It is not easy to add a player who can help for three months. It is very difficult. For some clubs it is easier but it is not easy for us."
