German championsBayern Munich are considering a move for Tottenham starlet Dele Alli after tracking the player for some time, according to theSun.

Alli wasrecently ranked as one of the 20 most valuable players in world football by CIES football observatory, with a worth of just shy of 100m.Spurs will demanda feesomewhere in the region of £85m if they are to even entertain the thought of selling one of their prized assets - and will likely hold out for more money than they sold Gareth Bale for in 2013.

Since signing for Tottenham for just £5m in 2015, Alli has been directly involved in 32 goals in 55 league games which has understandably led to interest from clubs such as PSG, Real Madrid and of course Bayern Munich.

Spurs, however, are said to be unwilling to entertain bids for any of their top players until they have been in their new stadium - which opens in 2018 - for at least one year. This would suggest that the likes of Hugo Lloris,Toby Alderweireld and Harry Kane are also unavailable for sale in the near future.

Reluctance to sell a playerhasn't been an issue for clubs attempting to lure players away from Spurs in the past, leading to the loss of stars such as Bale and Luka Modric - who both joined Real Madrid.

Things at Spurs are different these days though with the London club challenging for the Premier League title the season after losing out to an unstoppable Leicester City side, making the decision to leave a little more difficult for any players who are the subject of interest.

Despite their recent slip-up, a 0-0 draw with Sunderland, Tottenham remain as much in the title race as anyone else as they trail Chelsea - who they beat 2-0 through two Alli headers in January- by nine points.

With an evening fixture against Middlesbrough coming up this Saturday, Mauricio Pochettino's men will be hopeful of keeping up the Chelsea chase with a win at home as they look to add their first ever Premier League title to the trophy cabinet.
