Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur have expressed its interest in signing Ghana playmaker, Kudus Mohammed this summer.

The 21-year-old who joined the Dutch side two years ago has attracted a lot of European clubs due to his impressive outings.

The former FC Nordsjaelland forward is expected to play a vital role for Ajax this season having impressed hugely during pre-season where he played the false striking role.

However, reports suggest that Antonio Conte’s side have been observing the situation of Kudus at Ajax for the last six months, with the club believing that they could secure a deal for the promising forward.

Dean Jones speaking to This is Futbol hinted that Spurs could sign Kudus this summer.

“I think he’s a different type of midfielder and I think that, again, Tottenham are just looking now for the final pieces of the jigsaw and the players that might give them an edge," he said.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if they did sign a midfielder, obviously James Maddison’s one that has been linked.

“Kudus has the ability to make things happen from midfield," he added.
