Lokomotiv Moscow have made an official statement to confirm that they have secured the services of Tino Anjorin on a season-long loan deal. U20 England international becomes the 21st Chelsea footballer to depart the London club on a temporary switch this summer, with the Russian club having the option to buy him outright in 2022.
The 19-year-old attacker has been with the Blues since he joined the London club’s famed academy as a seven-year-old back in 2008. Since then, Anjorin has come leaps and bounds and is widely regarded as one of the most talented young midfielders to have emanated from the youth setup at Stamford Bridge in recent years.
However, as is the case with most academy graduates, the chances have not been forthcoming for Faustino since he made his debut for the Blues back in 2019. In fact, the English attacker has turned out only five times for Chelsea, racking up a grand total of only 153 minutes for the Blues.
