Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly won the race for Sergio Ramos with the 35-year-old defender set for his medical on Tuesday ahead of joining on a free transfer from Real Madrid.
Manchester City had been heavily linked with a move for the Spanish but have now missed out on him, with PSG on the verge of sealing his signature.
According to ESPN, veteran centre-back Sergio Ramos will undergo his medical with the Ligue 1 giants before putting pen to paper on a two-year contract.
The legendary Spain player will earn less than the £315,000-a-week wages he was earning at Madrid, but has gotten longer terms with PSG extending their initial one-year contract to two years.
Sergio Ramos will be the second big-name signing on a free transfer this summer, with PSG having already snapped up Georginio Wijnaldum from Liverpool under Barcelona's noses.
