Tunisia name 24-man squad for 2022 Kirin Cup in Japan

Tunisia have named their squad for the 2022 Kirin Cup scheduled to be hosted in Japan later this month.

The North African side are part of the four countries that will compete for the ultimate in the Asian country.

The tournament form part of their preparation for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Coach Jalel Kadri revealed on Monday his list of 24 players selected for these matches against Chile on Friday morning and against Japan or Ghana (June 14).

Goalkeeper Elias Damergy, midfielders Ghailene Chaalali (injured) and Moataz Zemzemi, and winger Elias Achouri could not make the squad despite featuring in their opener of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers opener.

In the opposite direction, the midfielder of Etoile Sportive du Sahel, Moaataz Zaddam, was called in as reinforcement. 

Wahbi Khazri, Ellyes Skhiri and Dylan Bronn are out of the squad due to injury.
