Turkish giants Besiktas have made contact with Kayserispor to inquire about the availability of midfielder Bernard Mensah this summer.
The Ghana international who made a permanent switch to Kayserispor prior to the start of the 2019/2020 football season has been impressive this season despite the woes of the club.
With his displays in the Turkish Super Lig, he has become a transfer target of a number of clubs with some from the other major European Leagues.
Ahead of the summer transfer window, Besiktas has made the first step towards securing the services of Bernard Mensah after contacting his club.
The club hopes to complete the signing of the highly-rated midfielder as soon as possible to beat competition from Galatasaray, as well as Fenerbahçe.
This season, the former Atletico Madrid man has made 22 appearances for Kayserispor where he has netted 4 goals and provided 8 assists in the process.
