Ghana's group D opponents at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Egypt will not have their fans back home watch them live on TV.

One day before the start of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, no deal has been reached between rightsholder beIN Sports and TV stations in the Maghreb territory.

As a result, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria will not be able to broadcast the games of their national team on free-to-air television.

Their financial offers have been turned down by the Qatari sports network.

Egypt will open their Afcon 2017 campaign against Mali on January 17 before taking on Uganda and finally lock horns with Ghana in the last group D game.
