Two Burkina Faso players arrive in Ghana ahead of trials with Asante Kotoko

Two players from Burkina Faso are set to join Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko on trials, according to Oyerepa 100.7FM.

Both players have already arrived in Kumasi to undergo trials as they seek to catch the eye of the technical handlers of the Porcupine Warriors.

Stephanne Yannick Pognongo scored a 94th minute goal to seal victory for Burkina Faso in their 1-0 victory over Ghana in the 2020 CHAN qualifiers at Baba Yara Stadium.

Not only him but another Burkinabe defender also came along with him for the assessment.

The players will travel with Kotoko to Accra as Maxwell Konadu's will be staying in the capital till they complete their three matches in Accra.

Asante Kotoko are currently second on the league table with 24 points after 13 matches played thus far.

The Reds will welcome Elmina Sharks to the Accra Sports stadium in match week 14 of the on-going Ghana Premier League on Thursday.
