Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko has expressed his side's readiness ahead of their semi-final clash against Cote D' Ivoire in the on-going Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Ghana will lock horns with the Ivorians in the first semi-final of the competition on Tuesday as they eye qualification to Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, coach Tanko admits the game will be a tough one for the Black Meteors but remains confident his side beat them.
"Cote d’Ivoire is a difficult team and facing them is not going to be easy especially in a game of this magnitude. I trust my players to win and reach the final, and also grab the ticket for the Olympics. All my players are ready,' he said.
Ghana advanced to the semis following a 2-0 win over Mali last Thursday.
A win for Ghana will see them secure a ticket to next year's Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan,
