Black Meteors coach, Ibrahim Tanko has hinted there would be changes in his starting XI against Guinea on Friday.

Ghana will face Guinea in their final Group A game at the Ibn Batouta Stadium and must win to secure a place in the last four of the tournament.

Following the humiliating 5-1 defeat against the host country, the Black Meteors are with just three points after opening their campaign with a win against Congo with Morocco having secured a place in the semifinals.

Speaking at the press conference, Tanko emphasized that these changes are crucial for the team to achieve its goal of advancing to the next stage.

He further revealed that the changes will persist as he strives to find a winning combination in this crucial game, where only a victory will secure Ghana's progression to the knockout stage.

"We have a lot of different players, and we have studied Guinea's two games. We will certainly select the best eleven that we believe can defeat Guinea," he said.

"We are going to implement some changes, and we believe that these changes will assist us in achieving our goal. It is of utmost importance to us because a win will guarantee our progression to the next stage.

"We will devise a strategy to secure the victory and advance," he added. The game has been scheduled to kick off at 20:00GMT.
