U.S. Ancona set to sign Italian-Ghanaian Giuseppe Agyemang

Giuseppe Agyemang, a defender who was born in Italy, is being pursued by U.S. Ancona of Serie C in Italy.

The Italian-Ghanaian, defender who can play in a three-man defense, will release on June 30. According to Corriere Adriatico, the defender is ready to switch to the court of the Dorics.

The crucial meeting between the player and the red and white director to lay out the specifics of the transfer took place today close to Reggio Emilia. One-year contract with the option of going back to the negotiating table after the championship to assess the situation.

Given his 33 appearances for the rossoblù, Agyemang is seen as having less experience than necessary. He had played 50 times for Lentigione during a two-year span in Serie D after developing in Bologna's youth system.

Agyemang is still eligible to represent Ghana internationally because the Italian national team has not yet given him a call up.
