The Ghana U23 team has been drawn to compete in Group A of the 2023 U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The draw for next month’s tournament was held in Morocco on Friday, May 5.
At the end of the colourful draw, the Ghana U23 team has been pitted in Group A alongside the host nation, Morocco.
In the group, the Ghana team nicknamed the Black Meteors will also face off with Congo and Guinea.

At the tournament, Ghana and the other countries will be aiming not to only conquer the continent but also secure qualification to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
This year’s U23 AFCON is scheduled to start in Morocco on June 24. The final will be played on July 8, to bring the tournament to an end.
