Published on: 07 September 2022

Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus has been handed his first start for Ajax Amsterdam today.

The highly-rated forward since the start of the 2022/23 football season has not started any of the league games.

He has often been handed cameo roles and only played 45 minutes over the past weekend when he scored to help Ajax to thump SC Cambuur 4-0 in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Courtesy of his top performances in the limited minutes he has enjoyed, Mohammed Kudus has today been handed a starting role for the Uefa Champions League match against Rangers.

The Dutch Champions are hosting the top team from Scotland this evening in the first Group A game of the new Uefa Champions League season.

The talented Black Stars attacker will hope to have a good game to stand the chance of cementing his place in the Ajax starting eleven.
