UEFA Champions League: Kassim Adams sent off as Hoffenheim fight back to draw 2-2 draw at Lyon

Ghanaian defender Kassim Adams was shown a red card as TSG Hoffenheim came from behind to draw 2-2 at Olympique Lyon on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League.

The 23-year-old clumsy challenge on France winger Fekir six minutes into the second half saw him receive his marching orders after been yellow carded in the 19th minute of a keenly contested game.

The Black Stars center-back had already been booked in the first half to reduce the Hoffenheim workforce.

By this time, manager Julian Nagelsmann's side were down by two goals to nil zero but Croatian forward Kramaric raked a low, bobbling shot into the bottom left corner of the net to give his side hope.

Hoffenheim pushed hard for an equaliser that looked like it might evade them until the 92nd minute when a free-kick to the far post found Kaderabek and he gratefully volleyed it home to earn his side a vital point that keeps them in contention to qualify from Group F, while second-placed Lyon now trail leaders Manchester City by three points.
