Ghana international Kudus Mohammed says the target of Ajax is to qualify from the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
The Dutch giants who paired in Group A against Liverpool, Rangers and Napoli occupies 3rd position after two matches.
Ajax will play host to Italian side Napoli tonight in matchday 3 of the Champions League before traveling to Naples for the reserve fixture.
According to Kudus, the ultimate aim of the four-time Champions League winners is to progress from the group stage.
“We are not done yet, it’s long way to go, it’s a good start and more to show as well. Most importantly is about getting the three points and getting out of the group stage, so that is the team’s goal and when that happens, the individual stuff will come naturally so the target is to get out of the group stage for now”
Kudus has already been named in the Dutch Eredivisie team of the month following his outstanding performances in the last month.
The Ghana superstar bagged six goals in five appearances in all competitions together with two man of the match awards in September.
He has scored 7 goals and provided 1 assist in 11 appearances for the Dutch giants.
