Uganda national team head coach, Paul Put, has announced a 26-man squad set to compete in upcoming friendlies against Comoros and Ghana later this month during the FIFA international window.

Notably absent from the Cranes squad due to injuries are captain and Young African's midfielder Khalid Aucho, along with Abdul Aziizi Kayondo.

The team is scheduled to take on Comoros on March 22 and Ghana on March 26 at the Stade Grande Marrakech in Morocco.

These matches serve as crucial preparation for Uganda's upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and the continuation of their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign.

Local players will join the squad following the conclusion of the last Uganda Premier League games, while foreign-based players will travel directly to Morocco from their respective clubs.

Of note, Steve Mukwala, who plays for Ghanaian club Asante Kotoko SC, has been called up to face the Black Stars.
