Uganda international Steven Desse Mukwala has promised to score more goals for Asante Kotoko in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Mukwala was an instant hit for the Porcupine Warriors, scoring 13 goals and providing 5 assists across competitions last season.
Speaking ahead of Karela United clash, the 24-year-old, who wants to perform better than he did last season has vowed to score more for the Ghanaian giants.
“I believe in process and this season, I started with injury which affected but I believe I will score more goals this season and I promise that” he said.
Mukwala is expected to lead the lines for the Porcupine Warriors when they host Karela United in the week 3 of the Ghana Premier League season.
The Porcupine Warriors are yet to win a game after two games into the domestic top-flight campaign.
The record Ghana Premier League holders kick started the season with a 0-0 stalemate on home turf against Heart of Lions before succumbing to a 2-1 defeat to Bibiani Goldstars in the week fixture.
