Unconfirmed: Hearts part ways with Kim Grant

Published on: 30 December 2019

Report reaching footballghana.com indicates that Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have parted ways with head coach Kim Tyrone Grant.

The gaffer was appointed in December 2018 while American football administrator Mark Noonan was the Managing Director for the club.

Though the he enjoyed a very successful spell with the Phobians during the Normalization Committee Special Competition, a recent loss against Asante Kotoko and a defeat to Berekum Chelsea on the opening weekend of the Ghana Premier League has made him unpopular.

He was called into a meeting with the board of Hearts of Oak earlier today and has now reportedly been relieved of his post.

It is understood that the 47-year-old tactician and his employers has mutually agreed to part ways.

Though yet to be confirmed by Hearts of Oak, an official communique is expected to be released very soon.
