Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has played with a heck of a lot of good players during his 24-year spell at the club, and even just listing them makes you sit back in awe.

From some fantastic foreign exports such as Eric Cantona andPeter Schmeichel, to the class of '92 English talent with the likes of David Beckham, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes.

However, none of these players apparently even compare to who Giggs suggested was the best player he has ever played with at Old Trafford. That man is Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking to theMirror, the 42-year-old believes that the current Real Madrid superstar had the lot, despite a difficult start to his days at the club.

"People forget he had a difficult start, but he did “ and still does “ everything he can to be the best," said Giggs.

He's an unbelievable athlete and player “ the best I played with.

He was really good to have around the dressing room “ until you needed the mirror. First, it was Becks, who sat there, and, when Cristiano came, he replaced Becks next to the mirror. So, you could forget it if you wanted to use the mirror “ you'd have to wait!

Despite not being at the absolute peak of his powers when he was in a United shirt, the Portuguese international still managed to score a record breaking 31 Premier League goals in the 2007/08 season, which bagged him a Ballon d'Or, and totalled an impressive118 strikes in 292 appearances for the club overall.
