US outfit FC Tulsa sign Ghanaian defender Rashid Tetteh

Ghanaian defender, Rashid Tetteh will feature for United Soccer League (USL) side FC Tulsa after completing a move to the club.

The 27-year-old joins the club from fellow USL side New Mexico United after ending his four seasons spell with the side. He made 85 appearances for the Black and Yellow team.

He is expected to play a huge role for Tulsa in the 2023 USL season.

The defender made his debut for his new outfit on Sunday where Tulsa played a 1-1 draw with Miami FC.

Rashid Tetteh made cameo appearance, coming on six-minutes to full time.

Tetteh played with the Panthers from 2015 to 2018 while attending High Point University, where he began his professional career in New Mexico.

The former Liberty Professionals product established himself as a standout performer in the Big South Conference by earning spots on the Big South First Team All-Conference team in 2018, co-Defensive Player of the Year accolades in the Big South in 2017, and All-Big South Second Team recognition in 2016.
