US side Dallas decline contract extension for Francis Atuahene

MLS outfit FC Dallas have declined the option to extend the contract of Ghanaian winger Francis Atuahene, footballghana.com can exclusively report.

Earlier in 2020, Atuahene was sent on loan to US second tier side San Diego Loyal where he scored two goals in 12 appearances.

He returned to Dallas in November with his contract set to expire on 31st December, 2020. With that well known by Dallas, its management decided against extending his contract and as such, he will be a free agent in 2021.

The 24-year-old was drafted by Dallas in 2018 and has been on multiple loan spells since. He is yet to feature for the Black Stars.
