Valencia coach Marcelino has played down his criticism of Real Madrid earlier this week.

Marcelino invited controversy when declaring Real as being "weaker" than last season.
"They asked me a question and with the utmost respect to Madrid and Zidane, I made a technical assessment," said Marcelino.
"I just gave an opinion and Zidane, who is very intelligent, understood that - and he can say whatever he wants.

"Anyone who wants to take it another way, that's their problem.
"I'm respectful of the Real institution and Zidane and his players."
