Spanish side Valencia have completed the signing of Ghanaian prodigy Yunus Musah from Arsenal.

The 16-year-old penned two-year deal with the Los Ches after turning down a scholarship offer from the Gunners.

Musah was on the radar of several clubs after an impressive 2018/19 season with the Arsenal U-18’s scoring five goals and providing two assists in 17 games.

He took to his own Instagram page to confirm the news.

“I am over the moon to have officially signed for @valenciacf.

“Delighted to join a club with such rich history and now I get to be a part of it! Can’t wait to get started.

“I have decided to take a different step in my pathway to achieve my dream.

“I cannot express my gratitude to the overwhelming support the club gave me throughout the course of my journey with Arsenal.

“Not a day will pass without remembrance to those who have helped me achieve in my career this far.

“A profuse thank you to all of my team-mates and staff who helped consolidate me as a player. Once a Gunner, always a Gunner.”
