The Italian international forward will be officially presented on Monday at 1:15pm, at the Ciudad Deportiva Media Centre in Paterna.

Zaza watched Valencia at the Mestalla on Sunday as he waited to complete his deal following a fruitless and deeply disappointing spell with the Hammers in which he failed to score in 11 appearances.

Valencia will pay a £1.75m loan fee with an option to buy permanently for £14m if the club avoids relegation.

Of course, the striker had been on loan at Premier League clubWest Ham for the first half of the season. Manager Slaven Bilic previously confirmed that Zaza's time with West Ham had come to an end after failing to sufficiently adapt to English football.

We wanted Simone and he wanted to come but because of his contract, his story at West Ham is finished," Bilic said. ''These things happen in football. He's definitely a good player but it just wasn't to be. With players it takes a few months or a year to adjust to the Premier League but we had to judge him on seven or eight games.

Zaza has been capped 16 times for the Italian national side and won the Serie A title during his time at Juventus.
