The 18-year-old received a hard tackle which affected his ankle ligaments during a preseason game. The tackle was instigated by Brazilian Atromitos player Thomas Bedinelli who apologised.

"Yunus, sorry for the action, it's part of football and unfortunately things like that sometimes happen. As we discussed, it was not my intention and never will be my intention to hurt a player , I will cheer you on and see you shine on the field soon," Bedinelli stated on Instagram.

He was set to take about three weeks to recover but reports have revealed that he aims to shorten the period to two weeks albeit he is walking with crutches.
