Real Valladolid defender Mohammed Salisu has admitted that they face a difficult test in Barcelona later tonight but hopes that they can put up a good performance that will earn his side at least a point at the end of the day.

The Ghanaian international has been in fine form since the start of the Spanish La Liga season and has in the process established himself as one of the best young defenders in the division.

Ahead of his side’s big game against Barcelona this evening, the center-back insists that concentration and the right approach can earn them a good result at the end of 90 minutes.

“It will be very complicated. With concentration and a good mentality you can get a good result”, Mohammed Salisu said in a post-match interview after Valladolid’s 2-0 win against Eibar over the weekend.

He added, “They have very good strikers. We have to be focused and be aggressive as we were against Atlético de Madrid.”

The defender is expected to face the deadly trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Antoine Griezmann in today’s match.
