Kotoko forward Jordan Opoku set to join the technical team of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Under 20 after he retires from active football .
The veteran central midfielder will be assigned with a coaching role when his contract with Porcupine Warriors ends.
Per his experience at Feyenoord (WAFA) where he is arguably their best ever talent, Opoku is well abreast with the youth development system and will join the Kotoko Under 20 bench as an under-study coach whilst he also takes up his CAF Coaching courses.
Opoku has played for a host of clubs including Feyenoord Rotterdam, Excelsoir, and Toyal Antwerp.
He marked his third return to Kotoko in 2018 having previously joined the club in 2006 and left in 2011 ahead of his second stint between 2013 and 2015. At age 31, the creative midfielder possesses dribbling skills and creativity that earn him loads of admirers.
