Accra Lions' coach Ibrahim Tanko expressed unwavering confidence in his team following their decisive victory against Karela United.
The football fans witnessed a thrilling match in week ten, where Accra Lions emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline, sealing their return to winning ways.
The standout hero of the day was defender Ali Mohammed, whose late goal not only secured the win but also earned him the coveted title of the man of the match.
“When you play three games without a loss definitely you have that confidence," Tanko said after the game.
"A win like this will always push you. Winning at the last minute of the game gives us more confidence and I am sure that the boys will take it,” he added.
Accra Lions is currently 8th on the league table with 13 points after 10 games. They will take on Accra Hearts of Oak in their next league game at home.
