VIDEO: Bismark Charles Sie's late goal for CSKA Sofia in the Bulgarian Cup

Bulgarian club CSKA Sofia secured victory in the Bulgarian Cup final against FC Arda 1924 Kardzhali on Wednesday evening thanks to a late strike from youngster Bismark Charles Sie.

The 19-year-old Berekum-born attacker came in as a second-half substitute after 61 minutes to replace Jordy Caicedo.

Bismark Charles Sie was the star of the second half after a low energy first half, dragging defenders out of position and causing problems in the FC Arda 1924 Kardzhali goal area.

Sie got a fantastic lobbed pass from Amos Youga well inside the box five minutes before the conclusion of the intense and entertaining match and controlled the ball with his chest wonderfully to move past his marker before unleashing a superb shot into the top right corner to win the game and the trophy for the Red and Whites.

FC Arda Kardzhali put up a strong performance throughout the encounter, giving CSKA Sofia lots of headache as the game went on.

CSKA Sofia won the Bulgarian Cup trophy in 2020/2021 thanks to Bismark Charles Sie's goal.

Since joining the Red and Whites, the youngster has played seven matches in the Bulgarian First Professional League, scoring one goal in the league before his cup-winning strike against FC Arda 1924 Kardzhali on Wednesday evening.
