Black Stars of Ghana held their first training session in Cape Coast on Tuesday evening ahead of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan on Thursday.
Coach CK Akonnor and his charges arrived in Cape Coast last night and immediately were put through their paces for the double header.
Sixteen players travelled together with the technical team and management of the Black Stars with the rest of the players expected to arrive today.
The Black Stars, who sit top of Group C, will host Sudan for the first leg behind closed doors before the second leg is played five days later in Omdurman
The team has undergone the mandatory Covid-19 tests which is part of protocols to be observed before the encounter as advised by CAF.
Orland Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori is set to join the team later today in Cape Coast.
